WEYMOUTH Choral Society returns to the stage next month with a glorious recital of popular arias and choruses from the world of opera, including Eugene Onegin, Les Troyens and L’Elisir d’Amore.
After an interval where wine and strawberries will be served, the choir will continue with songs from musicals past and present, including My Fair Lady, West Side Story and Les Miserables.
A spokesman for Weymouth Choral Society said: “We are delighted to be featuring, as our guest soloist, tenor Bryan Husband, who is well-known in this country and abroad, and who came last year to Weymouth as an adjudicator in the town’s music festival.
“Bryan is interrupting a hectic schedule of operatic engagements in Europe to come and sing with us, so don’t miss this rare opportunity to hear and enjoy his singing!”
