One of the many benefits of being a member of the choir, is a ready supply of singers and musicians who can use their talents in other ways.
Consequently, a group of us have got together to offer ‘Sing-a-longs’ at local care homes.
We call ourselves ‘Timeless Tunes’ and we perform a variety of popular songs that residents will know and love, the purpose being that they can sing along without the need of printed lyrics.
It is very rewarding to see how much they enjoy it and how well they respond to familiar tunes.
Our Christmas programme is always in demand.
