SATURDAY 12 DECEMBER 2026 AT 7.30 PM
ST JOHN’S CHURCH, GREENHILL, WEYMOUTH, DT4 7SS
Join us for our popular Christmas cracker of a concert! Seasonal songs and carols, old and new, including congregational items, interspersed with musical treats of Christmas-themed music. Weymouth Choral Society is delighted to welcome our good friends from Dorset Sinfonia once more for this annual extravaganza which will really set you in the mood for a happy Christmas.
This year the concert will include a performance of ‘A Musicological Journey Through the 12 Days of Christmas’ – a witty and entertaining composition by Craig Courtenay, that sets each stanza of the song to a different period and style of music. Also featuring the orchestra playing ‘The Sorcerer’s Apprentice’ reflecting this magical time of year, and some novelty surprises that our audience has come to expect!
Tickets are on sale now and it’s recommended that you buy early. This is a very popular event so get your tickets in good time if you want to join in the seasonal good cheer!
Tickets are priced at £20 which includes excellent festive refreshments – wine, non-alcoholic drinks, mince pies and treats. Children under 16 have free entry. You can buy tickets directly on our website via Ticket Source.
